Space Shuttle Discovery was NASA's third operational orbiter and the most flown spacecraft in history. It completed 39 missions between 1984 and 2011, spending 365 days in space. Discovery carried the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit in 1990 and performed several servicing missions to maintain it. The shuttle also played a crucial role in constructing the International Space Station, delivering modules, supplies, and crew members. The orbiter deployed numerous satellites, conducted scientific experiments, and served as a testbed for space technologies.
