Technology Hobbies

This section documents a couple of my technical interests beyond home theater, which has its own dedicated section. So far, there are two main technology topics that might be discussed here. First, some background, general thoughts, and eventually a description of our implementation of smart home automation.  Second, my experiences with, and the process involved in, digitizing some of my vinyl records, perhaps other audio-related tech topics.
