Marine Racks

(Click on Picture to Bring Up Full Image)

Marine racks aboard the USS Midway were similar in configuration to those used by general enlisted personnel. They stacked bunks with limited privacy and shared storage and were located in separate, smaller berthing compartments. Unlike the high-density enlisted berths, Marine spaces were less crowded due to the smaller detachment size, offering slightly more personal space and unit cohesion.
