Hospital Recovery Room

(Click on Picture to Bring Up Full Image)

The USS Midway had a recovery room (not shown) that provided post-operative care. This allowed patients to regain consciousness and stabilize under close medical supervision after surgery. Once a patient recovered sufficiently, they were transferred to standard medical wards, shown in the photo. The medical wards were designed for longer-term patient stays and general medical treatment. This separation allowed efficient surgical support and patient flow within the ship's medical facilities.
