Flight Operations

The Flight Operations Office on the USS Midway oversaw the planning, coordination, and execution of all flight missions. It maintained flight schedules, monitored aircraft launch and recovery operations, tracked aircraft locations and mission statuses, and ensured compliance with operational directives and airspace control procedures. The office also collaborated with the Air Department, squadrons, and the Combat Information Center (CIC) to support real-time mission execution.
