Chappel
(Click on Picture to Bring Up Full Image)

The chapel aboard the USS Midway served as a multifunctional space for religious services, personal reflection, and ceremonial events. It accommodated worship services for multiple faiths—primarily Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish—officiated by the ship’s chaplain or visiting clergy. Beyond religious observance, the chapel provided counseling, morale support, and a quiet area for sailors to find solace during deployments.
