Air Traffic Control
(Click on Picture to Bring Up Full Image)

Air Traffic Control (ATC) manages real-time control and safety of aircraft in the air and during carrier operations. ATC is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft within the carrier's controlled airspace. Controllers manage launch and recovery operations, maintain aircraft separation, and provide approach, departure, and route guidance using radar and radio communications.
Controllers operate from multiple stations, including Primary Flight Control and Carrier Controlled Approach (CCA), to handle different flight phases. ATC coordinates closely with the Flight Deck, Flight Operations, and Combat Information Center (CIC) to ensure safety and mission continuity during all flight operations.
