Admiral's Briefing Room/Office

(Click on Picture to Bring Up Full Image)

The room in this photo is part of the admiral's command area aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier, adjacent to the admiral's in-port cabin and offices. This space functioned as the admiral's planning and coordination hub while the ship was docked. The table and seating area were likely used for briefings or staff meetings. The raised desk area at the back of the photo was designated for administrative duties—managing operations, communications, and strategic planning.
